No teacher pass requests will be fulfilled from Dec. 21 – Jan. 1. Your request will be fulfilled after the new year.
We know it can be difficult to experience everything that Carnegie Science Center has to offer when you are chaperoning a bus-full of excited students. That’s why we offer free admission once each year to preschool – 12th grade teachers at schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York and Maryland. Use your free visit to familiarize yourself with our exhibits, prepare for your field trip, or just have a good time without a classroom full of kids.
To redeem your annual free admission to Carnegie Science Center:
- SUBMIT the form below.
- PRINT the confirmation email you receive. Be sure to check your email’s junk mail folder if you can’t find it.
- BRING your confirmation, along with your school identification, to the admissions counter at Carnegie Science Center or SportsWorks. Teacher admission passes are valid only for the person listed on the pass.

Teacher admission passes are redeemable only for general admission to Carnegie Science Center, which includes all main building exhibit areas, the Buhl Digital Dome, USS Requin, live demonstration theaters and SportsWorks. Omnimax films, laser shows, BODIES…The Exhibition and other fee-based programs are not included in this offer. Teacher admission pass requests must be made in advance of the visit date. They cannot be applied to group visits and are non-transferable. You may request one teacher admission pass each year. |
