FAMILY SCIENCE NIGHTS

Stimulate interest in science and promote parent
participation when you host a family science night!
Add an extra dimension of academic enrichment to your next school carnival or parent night. These ready-to-go packages include two hours of hands-on science activities that delight parents and kids alike. Each theme includes ten activity stations, which take kids and families about 45 minutes to complete. Choose “Color and Light” or “Physics Fun.”


Capacity: 150
Fee: $375 for two hours of activities
Requirements: 15-20 adult volunteers to help facilitate
the activities.
Your Carnegie Science Center presenter will conduct
a training workshop for adult volunteers 45 minutes
before your event begins.


SCIENCE MAKE & TAKE

Great for festivals, carnivals, games and other casual
events – anytime you want unique activities to
entertain the crowds. Everyone who visits our activity
table gets to make something to take home. Choose
from a variety of science activities, like harmonicas,
ultraviolet detecting rings, bubble-ariums and liquid
nitrogen activities. From toddlers to grown-ups,
everyone will be talking about the fun they had!

Fee: $150 for the first hour; $100 each additional hour
Capacity: 50-100 people per hour. Varies based on
activity selection.
